You will need to make a complete copy of your existing site as a backup, then overwrite updatable files with new ones. If you have added any custom code to your site, you will need to conduct a file comparison to determine if the changes will effect your code. If they do, you may have to add the VP-ASP manually, or vice versa, add you custom code to the new page.

2. Per Incident Support: $100.00/hr.
   Technical support is available on an as needed basis. Estimates are provided per incident. We will first conduct a review of your site to determine if any upgrades are missing. We will then provide you with a quote to update your site with the latest security changes.

Transferring from existing e-commerce software ...

Switching from an existing shopping cart to VP-ASP Open Source E-Commerce Software does not necessarily mean that you must start from scratch. CDM has completed numerous transfers of data from e-commerce shopping carts such as, AbleCommerce, Miva Merchant, and Storefront.Net.

Each package is unique and stores data in it's own way, however, we can usually export/import inventory and customer files. Depending on the type of software and version, we may also be able to pull orders, etc. associated with the customers. We review each case and quote individually based on the size and complexity of the project.
